Unidentified instrument recovered from the remote forest

An unidentified instrument has been discovered in the remotest area of Sub Tehsil Nihari of District Mandi.
The instrument was firstly seen hanging on a tree by a shepherd namely Prem Chand in the forest while he was grazing his sheep’s and goats there.
After receiving information about this instrument villagers contacted Sub Divisional Magistrate Vivek Chand who was on his official tour for Nihari.
The instrument was taken into possession by the officials to know about its identification and importance as local administration has never installed such an instruments anywhere in the area.
The instrument finds mention of GRAW-Radiosondes (DFM-06 (211210) 6660-12-368-9630 and GRAW-Radiosondes (DFM-06 (211210) 6660-12-368-9630 on its body.
The date of manufacturing has been shown on it as 03/2010 and BAR Code – 003464 with a website address www.graw.de is also printed on this instrument.
This foreign made instrument is containing two antennas, one switch and two batteries and is covered from all sides so that weather condition may not damage it.
The uncovering of this sophisticated instrument from the dense forest has raised suspicion amongst the local residents as well as Administration.
DSP Sundernagar Ajay Rana has confirmed that instrument is now in safe custody and we are contacting the experts so that its identity, use and its presence in the remote village can be ascertained.
